Sara Roccisano, Director

Sara Roccisano is a Director of Investments and Portfolio Management at NY Green Bank where she leads transactions and oversees portfolio assets on behalf of the bank. Ms. Roccisano has tenured experience in the energy infrastructure, renewable energy, and the investment product spaces from both the buy and sell sides as well as from the project development side. Additionally, Ms. Roccisano has extensive experience in investment analysis, capital raising, project structuring, and client advisory.

 Previously, Ms. Roccisano was at Centrica Business Solutions in their North America Distributed Energy group. She structured, financed, and underwrote Centrica’s distributed energy and advanced optimization power projects for commercial and industrial customers. Her projects ranged across the spectrum including solar, battery storage, energy efficiency, demand response, fuel cells, combined heat and power, stand-by generation, data analytics, and innovative financing structures. Prior to Centrica, Ms. Roccisano was at TIAA in the Energy & Infrastructure Private Markets Group originating direct private equity investments in energy infrastructure and core infrastructure assets. Additionally, Ms. Roccisano was an investment banker at UBS, first in their Financial Institutions Group and then on their Renewable Energy Investment banking team. She worked on a number of M&A, IPO, and innovative financing transactions across the full range of the renewable energy and clean technologies including next generation biofuels, biochemicals, wind, solar. With the UBS Financial Institutions Group, Ms. Roccisano covered asset management companies, listed investment products, and exchanged-traded funds. She raised over $5 billion in capital while at UBS.

Ms. Roccisano earned her undergraduate degree in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance from NYU-Stern.
