Susannah Cooley

Susannah Cooley is an Analyst on NY Green Bank’s Investment & Portfolio Management team, where she supports the full range of NYGB’s investment activities, including origination, evaluation, and execution of clean energy project investments across New York State.

Prior to joining NY Green Bank, Ms. Cooley worked in Juneau, Alaska, where she studied the process of primary succession on recently deglaciated areas with the Foundation for Glacier and Environmental Research. Ms. Cooley also studied the effects of climate change in Madagascar, where she completed a survey of coral reef health and fishery management. 

While at Davidson College, Ms. Cooley worked as a trip leader with the College’s outdoors club, and interned with the Davidson Lands Conservancy. Ms. Cooley completed a senior thesis on the effects of forest fire on soils in Southern Appalachia and presented the results of this study for the Geological Society of America.  Ms. Cooley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science
