Ben Goodwin, Associate
Ben Goodwin is an Associate on NY Green Bank’s Strategy, Impact, and Communications team, where he supports strategic planning processes, internal and external reporting requirements, and the development of new strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining NY Green Bank, Mr. Goodwin received his Master of Public Administration degree from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, where he specialized in social impact, innovation, and investment. He served as the Education Deal Team Leader for the NYU Impact Investment Fund, where he helped source and conduct due diligence on investments in early-stage social enterprises. Mr. Goodwin was also a Summer Associate with NY Green Bank’s former Strategy, Impact, and Investor Relations team.
Previously, Mr. Goodwin oversaw the risk management, logistics, and staff hiring for 300 annual wilderness expeditions across North America as the Wilderness Program Director at Camp Manito-wish YMCA.
In addition to his master’s degree, Mr. Goodwin holds a BA in International Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is currently a board member of the NYU Impact Investing Alumni Club.
