Ben Grenier, Director

Ben Grenier is a Director with NY Green Bank's Finance and Operations team. He is responsible for leading and managing NYGB’s liquidity planning and portfolio monetization initiatives to optimize NY Green Bank’s ability to meet the demands for its capital.

Ben has more than 20 years of success across financial services industries. Prior to joining NY Green Bank he served as Managing Director and head of Simpson Spence Young’s U.S. broker-dealer. His broad areas of expertise include raising capital, M&A, corporate finance, and accounting. Ben has also held senior positions at companies including DVB Bank SE and Ernst & Young LLP

Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
