Burr Tweedy, Vice President

Jason Moore - NY Green Bank Vice President

Burr Tweedy is a Vice President on NY Green Bank's Investment and Portfolio Management team, where he supports the origination, evaluation, and execution of scalable clean energy and efficiency project investments across New York State.

Prior to joining NY Green Bank, Mr. Tweedy was a Summer Associate on the investment team while pursuing his MBA, supporting the negotiation, diligence, and execution activities for an energy efficiency transaction. He also completed an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellowship at Shorenstein Company, where he proposed energy efficiency strategies, achieved LEED Platinum certification, and conduced an energy audit.

Previously, Mr. Tweedy was an environmental design specialist at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. His work included developing recommendations to improve future energy performance for 30+ projects by analyzing the potential for reducing solar heat gain, maximizing daylighting, or using passive ventilation.

Mr. Tweedy holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Environmental Management degrees from Yale University, where he focused on clean energy finance. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Colorado College.
