Portfolio & Pipeline
NY Green Bank is a key component of NYSERDA’s proposed Clean Energy Fund (CEF), which in turn is part of New York’s Reforming the Energy Vision (REV), the strategy to build a clean, resilient and affordable energy system for all New Yorkers. Similar to the experience of other components of REV already underway, the robust response to NY Green Bank investments demonstrates significant private sector interest in overcoming market barriers in order to deploy greater clean energy projects across the state.
NY Green Bank’s investments directly contribute to New York State achieving the following clean energy goals by 2030:
- 40% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 levels;
- 50% energy generation from renewable energy sources; and
- 23% decrease in energy consumption in buildings from 2012 levels.
NY Green Bank's portfolio is made up of transactions it has already closed with clients and other capital providers. This growing portfolio includes investments into residential efficiency, distributed/small wind, residential and commercial solar, and property assessed clean energy. Public announcements on NY Green Bank's existing portfolio can be found on our In the News page and background on each of our transactions can be found on the Transaction Profiles page.
